This bright 3 bedroom Queenslander is the perfect place for your beachside getaway! Only 100m walk to the beach and just 200m to delicious local cafes, you are sure to enjoy all the coast has to offer! It’s simple, quaint and boasts loads of charm and character!
Charm and character come from age, and you will see this is an older style house. The beach is 100m walk, local cafes are 200m away, and Mooloolaba Esplanade is only a 10 to 15-min walk.
This beachside beauty has all that you need. There is a large deck attached to the back of the house which faces north and captures sunlight from morning to evening. You will enjoy your morning coffee here, and no doubt a BBQ or two of an evening.
The living area also opens up onto the back deck, creating even more ambience. All 3 bedrooms are generous in size and there’s an extra fold out double bed in the living room.
The property also has a large backyard and pets are welcome upon application.
The house is only a short 1 minute stroll to the beach and I have a number of old surfboards that guests are welcome to use.
You’ll have private access up the front staircase and the entire upstairs of the house. This 3 bedroom property is totally seperate from a 2 bedroom apartment downstairs where my partner and I currently live. We have a dog called Mundi who is super friendly and roams free in the backyard when he’s not at the beach! He likes having a playmate so if you have a furry friend, please feel free to bring them. We just ask that you enquire first.
A fairly quiet neighbourhood with a large emphasis on surfing. A lot of people use skateboards and bikes as transport as everything is so close. The township has a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere that complements the soothing rolling surf and inviting beaches. Alexandra Headland is also ringed by Mooloolaba, Buderim, and Maroochydore with a superb coastal sweep to the north and bush foothills to the west. Alexandra Headland’s main attraction is its magnificent coastal frontage of beach, headland, and parks extending for kilometers north and south. The swimming beach is patrolled by the Alexandra Headland Surf Club. On any day, visitors can enjoy watching the surfers, or better yet join them. There are many places to sign up for surf lessons and rent boards. For the skaters and bikers, there is an outdoor skate park right alongside the beach. Also provided are picnic and barbecue facilities; so why not enjoy lunch on the barbie with family and friends. While Alexandra Headland has maintained its small-town charm, it is only minutes from major Sunshine Coast shopping centres and attractions. Distance from Brisbane (State Capital): 98 kilometers.

Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) located in Marcoola is serviced by Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas domestically as well Air New Zealand who provide seasonal flight services from Auckland. Centrally located in Marcoola, the Sunshine Coast Airport offers a range of transport options including shuttle buses, hire cars, taxis, and public bus services.
Alternatively, Brisbane Airport is both an international and domestic gateway to Queensland with regular transfers to the Sunshine Coast.
Bus services operate hourly door-to-door airport shuttle services between the Brisbane Airport and Sunshine Coast seven days a week. Transport between Brisbane Airport and the Sunshine Coast can also be accessed via the train to Beerwah, Landsborough or Nambour train stations. Limousines can be booked for private transfers.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* Extra $40/night will be charged for guests after 8 or if the sofa bed needs to be prepared.
* As we are living downstairs, this is not a property for parties. Please do not book this if you are planning on enjoying late nights as we are early risers and enjoy mornings at the beach. Please do not book this property expecting modern living and to be newly renovated.
